Purpose:
To give an award in honor of our
founder, Sister Mattie Blackstone
McIntosh, and to pay
special tribute to a faithful,
dedicated, and committed sister in your
congregation.
Requirements for
submission:
Write an essay of 200
words or
less
telling us why you feel
this sister deserves the Founder’s
Award. Include a picture of the nominee
with your essay.
The deadline for
submissions is March 6, 2008.
The Founder’s Award
Committee is composed of seven members
who designed the criteria for this
award. It is given every year at the
Ladies’ Lectureship-Retreat.
